Port Perry Fair, 2024

The Silverline Patrol & Security team were contracted for the first time this year to secure the Port Perry Fair, a huge event that runs annually on Labour Day Weekend. The squad at Silverline were tremendously excited and grateful for the opportunity to help host the crowds, which were plentiful!

Each of the three days at Port Perry Fair drew thousands of attendees from Port Perry and beyond; we were happy to see lots of familiar faces attending to support from our other OAAS District 4 Fairs!

Our absolute favourite part of the Port Perry Fair was the Sunday night concert, headlined by Owen Riegling.

Barbie from the Port Perry Agricultural Society does a great job of booking and organizing great shows for the fair each year, and this edition was no different. It was a warm night and the acoustics carried well through the open field that had served as a parking lot the day before; Owen's stage was expertly set up and taken down by staff members and it was a sight to behold! Standing areas on one side and room for chairs and seating opposite made for happy crowds!

As a group, we were certainly proud to put our best effort into this event! For us, it was a team of over 20 people protecting thousands of customers and a densely packed property 24 hours a day. That is no small feat, and though our feet were tired at the end of the weekend, it was certainly a great one!
