Silverline at the Ontario Equine Expo: A Tremendous Kickoff at Markham Fairgrounds

An exciting weekend observing clinicians work and share their skills!

Our March season was extended at Silverline Patrol & Security as from the 21st to the 23rd, we had the incredible opportunity to be part of something truly special—the inaugural Ontario Equine Expo, held at the Markham Fairgrounds. As a company rooted in community safety and passionate about supporting rural and agricultural events, we were proud to lend our services to an event that was not only impeccably organized but also bursting with energy and excitement.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that organizers Ryan and Miranda had poured their hearts into making this first-ever Equine Expo a standout success. Every building buzzed with activity, filled with knowledgeable clinicians, engaging vendors, and eager attendees from across the province. Whether you were there to learn, shop, network, or just enjoy the atmosphere, there was something for everyone.

The Cutting Edge Cowgirls were just one of dozens of vendors packing the spaces available to crowds!

Silverline was stationed at the front gates facilitating crowd admission and provided security coverage throughout the venue, ensuring the event ran smoothly and safely for all involved. It was a pleasure to greet guests, help with logistics, and keep a watchful eye during both the day’s events and the unforgettable Saturday night rodeo. The energy in the arena that evening was electric—every cheer from the crowd echoing just how much this event meant to the equine community.

We also walked away with a deeper appreciation for the equine world. Meeting passionate horse owners, trainers, riders, and industry professionals opened our eyes to the level of care, dedication, and spirit that defines this community. We learned a lot—and we loved every minute of it.

Congratulations again to the organizers on a tremendous debut. Silverline is proud to have played a small part in supporting the Ontario Equine Expo’s success, and we’re already looking forward to what next year has in store!
